Our excursions, designed for those who wish to discover the natural, scenic, and historical/cultural richness of Abruzzo, are suitable for small groups and families, but also for more experienced hikers. Our qualified guides at Dimore Montane will accompany you in complete safety and, thanks to their stories, you will be able to observe and interpret the area from a curious and informed perspective, experiencing a small adventure that is sure to be unique and memorable.
The tour starting points can be reached directly from the hotel or via our personal transfer. Basic hiking clothing is required for mountain hikes: hiking shoes, long trousers, rain jacket, rucksack, and bottle of water.

RING OF THE ACQUAFREDDA MINES

When? EVERY TUESDAY AND SATURDAY JULY AND AUGUST

Starting directly from the campsite, we will immerse ourself in a naturalistic context that, shaped by history and the agro-pastoral tradition, will tell us about a recent past. Suitable for children (8+). Dogs allowed.

SHEPHERD'S HUTS TOUR

When? EVERY THURSDAY IN JULY AND AUGUST

A circular trail along places of high historical and cultural value where you will discover the ancient agro- pastoral tradition of the locals. You will visit the main clusters of dry stone structures used as shelters or tool sheds. Return is timed with the sunset, in order to let you enjoy the view of the Gran Sasso in the soft light of the setting sun. Dogs allowed.
